I have completed quite a few courses on Coursera. This is by far the best instructor. I really hope David is going to do teach another Coursera course soon - I will sign up regardless of the content!

The class did not feel like an introductory course and was very difficult to complete the assignments in the allotted timeframes so it was a constant crunch to beat the clock. I also did not feel like the answers were thoroughly explained at times and required outside research to figure them out.

There is content on the quizzes that is not covered in the course. Quite a bit of prior knowledge is assumed. I had to do outside reading to prepare for the quiz. Frustrating and discouraging!

This wasn't for me. The pace was either too slow and way below what I needed or when areas were on topic, they still didn't make sense.

content may cover the important topics but the explanations are severely lacking certain topics, sometimes in mathematics it's essential to explain WHY a certain law is such, or the fundamental reason and background, this course is often just obsesed with giving you data to memorise without giving any explanation: seems like I got a very defensive reply well few examples I can think of; when explaining 'completing the square' the course doesn't bother to explain the core, fundamental REASON why that technique is the way that it is, it is LITERALLY completing an incomplete square (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Completing_the_square), instead we're just told some algebraic trick when explainig the unit square and radians, we just jump from the unit circle to applying to ALL circles that 360 = 2πr, instead of showing that radian is a ratio; arc length over radius, = C=2πr / r THUS 2πr radian applies to all circles, (this is a pretty important explanation that isn't given, maybe it's given further down the line but i don't know why it wouldn't be given when introducing the topic of raidans furthermore, the notes themselves often invovle algebraic workings that lack explanation of steps that could be confusing to new learners the course has all the relevant concepts and materials but the explanations and workingss are lacking
